Stay Within the 2 kg Total Load

The maximum capacity includes everything placed on the scale: cup, portafilter, brewer, server, coffee, and water. Tare your empty container before measuring, and do not immerse the scale or expose it to direct flames or extreme heat.

Everyday Care

Wipe Clean. Keep the Port Dry.

Remove the silicone pad and clean it separately. Wipe the glass surface and aluminum body with a soft, damp cloth, dry the scale fully, and keep moisture away from the USB-C port. Avoid immersion and abrasive cleaners.

Yes. The 0.1 g increments and built-in timer help track coffee dose, extraction time, and beverage yield.

Can I use it for pour-over?

What does the 2 kg capacity include?

It is the combined weight of all brewing equipment, coffee, and water placed on the scale.

Do I need a separate timer?

No. The built-in display shows weight and brew time together.

Does it use disposable batteries?

No. The internal battery recharges through USB-C using the included cable.

How do I use it to dial in espresso?

Tare the empty portafilter, dose your coffee (for example 18 g), then tare your cup on the scale, start the timer with the pump and stop the shot at your target yield — a 1:2 ratio means 36 g out in roughly 25–30 seconds. Adjust the grind finer if the shot runs fast, coarser if it runs slow.

Is 0.1 g resolution enough for espresso?

Yes. Espresso recipes are written to 0.1 g (e.g. 18.0 g in / 36.0 g out), and 0.1 g is the same resolution used by most dedicated barista scales. Coarser 1 g kitchen scales cannot show dose differences that visibly change a shot.

Is it waterproof?

No. It is wipe-clean and the removable silicone pad catches most drips, but the scale should not be immersed or rinsed. Keep water away from the USB-C port and dry the body after brewing.

Can I use it as a regular kitchen scale?

Yes. With a 2 kg maximum and 0.1 g increments it works for baking, tea, matcha and portion weighing as long as the total load, including the container, stays under 2 kg.
